Vilnius Old Town Mystery is a self-guided outdoor escape game — a modern take on a scavenger hunt where you explore the city with your phone, solve puzzles, follow clues, and complete tasks at real locations.

Get a one-time ticket for your team — no booking slot needed. After purchase you receive a code to unlock the mission in the app and can start anytime.

Play at your own pace — no guide or fixed start time is needed. All you need is your phone and a team ready for an adventure.

You can start the mission from anywhere in Vilnius Old Town, although we recommend beginning near the Bell Tower in Cathedral Square for the best experience. You can complete the tasks in any order and choose your own route through the city.

Feeling tired or want to stop for coffee? You can take a short break and continue the mission afterwards.

You can play as a single team or compete against other teams — the team that earns the most points and completes tasks fastest wins.

During the mission, you will explore some of the most iconic places in Vilnius Old Town, including Cathedral Square, Pilies Street, St. Anne’s Church, Bernardine Garden and Užupis.

FAQ

Where does the mission start?

You can start the mission at any task inside the play zone. We recommend starting at the Bell Tower in Cathedral Square.

Can we pause the game?

Yes. Open the menu and tap pause — the mission timer stops while you’re paused. Note: a task already in progress does not pause, so finish the current task first. In outdoor missions each pause costs 3 minutes of game time.

How many phones does a team need?

Each team needs one phone with the “City Mission” app installed. Make sure the phone is well charged before playing — the game uses the map, GPS, and camera, so the battery may drain faster than usual.

What's the recommended team size?

Teams of all sizes have played the game — from 1 to 5 players. We recommend 2–4 players. Most tasks are more fun to solve together, and it's easier to share ideas and spot clues as a team.
